Embarkation. One of my favorite times of any cruise. All the planning is complete, and it’s time to queue through registration, security and finally….onto the ship! That excitement never lessens for me; although I have completed 8 cruises, I still get that butterfly feeling (the good kind!) as I first enter the cruise ship. So….I’ve planned for a while to build a blog focused on cruising…and the joy it provides. If you think researching for a cruise takes time….try learning how to blog! Please bear with me and as with anything else, I’m certain this will get easier and the quality will improve with time! I am glad you’re going on this journey with me.
A little about me: I was born to cruise! From the time my parents took their first cruise shortly after my husband and I married, I knew that I wanted to become a cruiser, too. I took my first cruise with my husband in the early 90s (thanks Mom & Dad!), and have enjoyed a total of 8 cruises thus far….with 3 in queue through the next year. I am a compulsive planner, researcher, bargain-shopper…and these skills have served me very well in the cruising arena. I love to share my tips, give advice, and snag the best cabins at the best prices! I won’t know all the ships, nor itineraries…but am so happy to share information about those I do know. Now, hurry and find your stateroom – it’s almost time for sail away (and don’t forget the muster drill!) fine print & legal disclaimer: I am not a travel agent, nor do I work for the cruise industry or anything affiliated with the cruise or travel industry.
